I have been with Raider Express since 3/20/2000. The time that I have been hear has been very cool, this is a sweet company to work for. The people here are very cool, they make you feel like you are an important piece of the company. The best thing about working at Raider Express is the money!!!

I’ve been with Raider Express for 7 years and 4 months now. Of my 20 years of driving experience, this is the best company that I have ever been with. The owners and dispatchers are very professional in their jobs. I honestly feel like a member of a family here, not just a driver that gets lost in the mix and never gets any recognition. If you are a driver and ready to ride, there are plenty of miles here that you can get.

Before starting my career at Raider I worked for a furniture company for over 6 years. Despite being second only to the manager, I never made more than 400 dollars a week. We covered our bills but couldn't pay down a $40,000 credit card debt, we owed two cars and couldn't afford any outings or vacation. Then, one day without notice, they laid me off. I always wanted to drive a truck so this seemed like the perfect opportunity. I got online but few companies would hire drivers with no experience, and those that did, required me to stay at least 3 weeks over the road. Raider offered me the opportunity to start my career with no experience and without staying more than 10 days away from my babies (7 and 4 at the time) and my wife. There were going to be lots of sacrifices made, time spent away, but no matter, I gave it my all, committed 110 % of the time.
There's been long nights that went and came, hauling through the snow and the blinding rain, from 40° below in upper Maine, to 110° in the Texas plains, delivering freight just like a train.
The road can be merciless if you don't receive proper training. Luckily I was placed with possibly their most committed trainer who mentored me every step of the way. I vowed to return the favor and have since, become a trainer who is equally committed to offering nothing but the best possible training to those who like me, wanted a better life for their families. Oh, and the money situation...? We currently have one credit card that we owe $3500 to, and when it's paid off, we'll just have the mortgage. Well... never mind that, we just bought a new car for my wife after we paid off the other two. We started a proper savings account. Vacations and outings? You betcha, what's the point of making money if you can't enjoy it with your family. In most jobs, no matter how hard you work, you get paid the same every week. Here, your pay is only limited by your willingness and ability to stay busy. There are easier ways to make a living, but few are more fun than driving a truck. If you put in the effort, boy! do you get the reward. See you down the road.
